Project Overview
This historic preservation project on prestigious Bellevue Avenue in Newport is a 19th century Victorian restoration. This private residence was built in the 1890’s as a private, single family home, which was later converted to a daycare and multi-tenement use. The owner purchased this property in order to restore it to its original condition. In addition to the restoration of the interior and exterior finishes, structural modifications and replacement of all mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems, Behan Bros. has also constructed a historically approved carriage house addition.
